Her rigorous medical training included a five-year general surgery residency program at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency. Driven by her commitment to excellence, Dr. Daiza pursued additional training through a one-year cosmetic surgery fellowship with Charlotte Plastic Surgery, where she had the privilege of training alongside some of the nation’s leading plastic surgeons. I recommend a minimum of 2 weeks (preferably 3 weeks) off from your physically demanding job (lifting and carrying a heavy laptop and folder). It is best to find out from your surgeon the extent of the operation in terms of having the implants exchanged only vs having a capsulectomy (removing the scar tissue around the implant) in addition to exchanging the implants as that will determine the recovery course.
