This 41 year old patient wanted to restore her abdomen after pregnancy. Part of the pregnancy process stretches the muscles of the abdominal wall. The full tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) repairs the separation of these muscles, removes much of the excess skin, fatty tissue, and stretch marks (from the belly button down to the top of the public area). In order to obtain the best result, liposuction of the hips/flanks was also part of her surgery.
