Breast reduction in the male is called Gynecomastia. The surgery to reduce the size of the breasts may range from simple Liposuctioning to incisional surgery. I make a point of discussing fully all options with the patient prior to the surgery.
Patients can return to fairly normal activities as soon as they feel comfortable. Full activities can resume at three weeks after the procedure.
