Hi. It all depends on how much fat the patient will yield and require to get an attractive figure. A surgeon may transfer as much as 1500'cc +. The better questions is ......why does it matter. I have transferred as little as 500 CCs per side with great results and I have witnessed patients coming into my office who have had greater than 1500 CCs injected by other surgeons with very larger, unshapely and unattractive buttocks.

Hi. It's personal preference. I begin my patients on lymphatic massage the first week post-op. I do not have the therapist touch the buttock region. Many patients assume that a lymphatic massage is similar to a traditional Swedish massage, it's not. Hi. It's very difficult to assess your pre-op condition since the photo you have provides does not clearly show an image from the back but rather diagonal and with underwear. The measure of success is not what others post-op results may look like but rather comparing good clinical photos of your before and after. Hi. Simple answer is yes. the better shape and health you are in, the better the post-operative recovery. Working your glutes is a great idea but depending on what your goals are, simple toning may not give you the effect and contour you may be seeking..

It seems you've had a reaction to the suture material used. Unfortunately, your surgeon is 8 hrs away. Just like you are posting photos to Real Self, do the same with your surgeon. You will need local wound care. Please consult with your surgeon's office. I feel this may b a chronic problem and every few weeks or months you may find another suture popping through the skin. The simple answer is yes. There are a number of materials that may be used to assists in recurrent ptosis or droopiness. Most of the times additional anchoring material is not required. It seems like you have a small amount of fat necrosis which means that the fat underneath the skin died. This does not represent an infection although it could potentially become one.
