Answer Snippet
Can cog thread lift end up with no result?
Cog Thread
Jan 31, 2019
Yes, it is certainly possible that no result was obtained. There can be a number of reasons for this including:
1. Your tissues are not mobile enought
2. Not enough threads placed
3. Threads not sufficiently anchored
4. Thread type is too weak
5. Thread angles not ideal
6. Too much motion in your face after thread placement
Usually adding threads can improve results. But, sometimes they simply don’t work well.
How many syringes of filler to achieve a more perfect face?
Fillers
Jan 30, 2019
In general, you don’t need a lot of filler. I think that the most important areas for you would be nasolabial fold, temples, a bit under-eye and nose correction with lifting of the tip. This would require 3-4 syringes. Good technique is more important than the products selected, to avoid overfilling as you pointed out. NLFs only need one syringe total, one syringe in each temple, and the rest in under eye and nose.
I’m looking to get nose filler but I was wondering, if I get punched in the nose what’ll happen?
Fillers in Nose
Jan 30, 2019
If you receive fillers in the nose and then receive trauma to the nose, the fillers could shift, or dissipate. Most likely you would lose the corrective benefit of the filler, particularly with repeated trauma.
What facial fillers would you suggest and where?
Lines
Jan 30, 2019
The second picture shows a protrusion of skin arising out of the mouth area. This type of fold typically does not respond well to fillers. Nor does a pouch under the skin. The best non-surgical solution would be threadlifting to pull the tissues back into position. Fillers could help the nasolabial area where a line can clearly be seen.
Loss of volume on forehead. What would be the best filler to add volume?
Forehead
Jan 30, 2019
I would prefer to use a product such as Restylane Defyne. It has a natural flex to it that prevents lumping or bumping in that area. Should work quite well.
