Irene Ohbe-Arakaki, M.D.

Name: Irene Ohbe-Arakaki, M.D.
Position: Business Owner
Biography: Born in Honolulu and raised both here and Tokyo, Dr. Arakaki first graduated with honors from the University of Puget Sound, WA. After receiving her Medical Degree from the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine, she fulfilled her post-graduate training at UC Davis Medical Center and at the University of Hawaii’s Residency Program. She was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, the only National Honor Medical Society that recognizes and perpetuates excellence in the medical profession.

In 1998, she established her private practice in Honolulu, specializing in Internal Medicine. Finding herself drawn to Aesthetic Medicine, she opened Reneux Med and Day Spa in 2007.

She has advanced education in Aesthetic and Laser Medicine and is a member of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.

Dr. Arakaki is bilingual in English and Japanese. She enjoys spending time with her husband Dean, and her daughters, Leah and Nikki.

Anne Tanabe, M.D.

Name: Anne Tanabe, M.D.

Biography: Anne Tanabe, M.D., a practicing physician since 2000 joined Reneux in 2017 as an associate. Most recently her practice has been in both Internal and Aesthetic Medicine. A graduate of Punahou, she completed her B.S. at Washington University in St. Louis. She was awarded both a M.S. and her medical degree from The Chicago Medical School.

Position: Registered Nurse
Biography: As a R.N. in the surgical trauma unit of The Queen’s Medical Center with a Master’s Degree in Nursing Administration, our laser technician, Noreen, comes with a wealth of experience in the medical field. During down time, she loves traveling and hanging out with her fiance, friends, and fur baby.

Biography: With over 25 years of experience in medical settings, our licensed aesthetician, Annie, is passionate and extremely knowledgeable about skincare. She enjoys yoga and loves spending time hiking and paddle boarding with her husband and son.
