You may want to consider a consultation with a different board certified Plastic Surgeon. From the photos and your description, you are an ideal candidate for muscle tightening. While the recovery will be easier for you, your result will likely be suboptimal

Muscle separation

I’ve never really done a tummy tuck without a muscle repair. Any degree of separation is an indication for plication of the abdominal wall. I would suggest you aren’t getting the best result unless this is done
