Mommy Makeover surgery in Dallas TX usually involves and abdominoplasty / tummy tuck and breast lift with or without breast implants.

The surgery usually lasts 4 to 5 hours and can be done as an inpatient or an outpatient procedure.

Mommy Tuck Is Aimed At Reversing The Changes To A Mother’s Body

The reason is because women need there bodies revamped sometimes even when they haven’t had any children. Weight lose is a big reason for a makeover. Usually this procedure refers to having your breast enlarged and lifted and sometime one or the other.

Stretch marks are one of the more difficult problems faced by plastic surgeons. Although a variety of treatment options exist, excision offers a reliable solution. In patients undergoing abdominoplasty who have flank stretch marks, extension of the incision laterally is a viable alternative when skin redundancy is present.

Although your pictures suggest that this would be possible, it’s hard to know without a physical exam. In some cases, this incision can be extended circumferentially and used to remove excess back and flank skin.

If you’re considering this type of procedure, consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon is appropriate. This surgeon should be able to help you formulate an appropriate treatment plan.

Only some stretch marks would be removed.
Stretch marks are permanent, and will only be removed if they happen to be on the skin that’s excised during mommy makeover. Extending the tummy tuck may help remove some of the stretch marks shown in your photo, but it doesn’t appear that you have enough skin laxity for all of them to be removed during mommy makeover, especially since they cover a larger expanse of skin.

Additionally, instead of stretch marks, you’ll have a scar that extends around to your back on both sides instead of just hip to hip like a traditional abdominoplasty. The skin removal component of a tummy tuck is normally confined from the level of the belly button down to the pubic hairline. The skin above the belly button will remain, and will be stretched down to cover everything.

With the buttock lift operation, the skin which gets removed is normally from the belt / underwear line down some distance onto the buttock. (The butt gets “lifted” up to that line.)
