A breast lift by a board certified plastic surgeon will definitely have a permanent improvement on the appearance of your breast, but overtime gravity will lower the breast tissue and you will develop a "natural" hollowed appearance to the upper portion of the breast. Tanning prior to surgery shouldn't affect your final outcome at all, but as you know after surgery tanning the scars can result in permanently darker scars. I recommend that my patients keep their scars from sun exposure (covered or sunblock) for 1-2 years after a surgery for the best outcome. On a side note, tanning beds have a very high association with skin cancers and you may want to consider either embracing your white "glow" or switching to spray tanning. Good luck...

There are many ways to make things look better in your post-operative photos. I like the oblique view because it does a nice job at showing if the nipple is over the most projecting part of the implant and demonstrate the "side boob". It is hard to tell just from photos, but it appears that the gel strip is just pushing out some of the residual swelling in the bottom part of your breast. This is much like sock lines on your legs when you take off your socks a the end of a long day. So I wouldn't be concerned unless there is spreading redness associated with the silicone strips. Everyone has different amounts of swelling. Without having seen a before and after photo it is hard to say for sure, but a 350 mL implant will generally make an A cup enlarge to a C cup (+/- depending on your weight and height). Also, implants often look larger to patients until they settle out, meaning until they drop lower on the chest over time. Using hibiclens prior to surgery is a nice option to try and reduce the risk of a post-operative infection. Most doctors don't have this requirement and the risk of infection is somewhere around 1-2%. Using hibiclens prior to surgery may or may not actually reduce the infection rate, but it couldn't hurt (unless you have an allergy). The short answer is yes. A breast augmentation is a very safe surgery and generally the risk of infection is somewhere around 1-2%. People with higher body weights are at a higher risk for wound healing issues and infections. If you are comfortable with a slightly higher risk of these complications and you have normal blood glucose levels then getting a breast augmentation is a fine option for you.
