I am assuming BA stands for breast augmentation. If so, I am not sure why you would have had a drain placed. I wonder if you may have had a capsulectomy, breast lift or reduction. I usually do not place drains following a straight forward augmentation.

Can you tell from my photos if I will require lift in addition to implants?

Incision won’t heal 3 months post surgery. What is wrong?

No specific diagnosis can be made without a good exam.However, based on your description, you may have protrusion of fat content from the muscle plication or a hernia. The area around the umbilicus is not completely tighten and can allow for this to happen.You should show this to your plastic surgeon on your next visit.

25 cc is a very low volume difference. The average person will not see the difference between a 375 vs 400.Go with 400 cc if your chest diameter allows it.In terms of the type of implant, if your surgeon recommended silicone for the reasons he explained, I cannot argue with that reasoning.best of luck!

I am assuming that the chin liposuction will be done without general anesthesia and the tummy tuck will be done under generalanesthesia. If so, yes… that is perfectly fine.However, why not do both at the same time? unless they are being done by two different surgeons…..

Congratulation on your pregnancy. The deflated saline implant, if you choose to, can stay in place forever. It should not cause any harm to you or your baby. However, I would recommend having them replaced after you deliver and after you are done breast feeding.If it has only been 3 years, it should be under warranty.

Your concerns are shared by many women considering breast augmentation.Often times, women regret not having gone big enough. Based on the diameter you posted (12 cm), I would go as high as 375 cc high profile.Surgeons use many tools to give you an idea of what the implants will look like.In my office I use a sizer system. It appears that what you are describing is subcutaneous emphysema. During a breast augmentation surgery, a pocket is created. Air will get trapped in the pocket after the implant is placed. This air can travel under your skin and move into your abdomen, back or neck area. This condition usually resolves withing 3-5 days.If it persists beyond this period, you should see your surgeon.

Great Question!There are a few techniques you can use at home to determine what size will achieve the goals you are looking for. For example, you can fill a zip lock bag with some rice, place them between a non padded bra and your breast, and keep filling the bag until you like what you see. You can then determine the volume of rice you used.In our office, we would do something similar, but using sizer implants.Good luck!
