We typically inject Lovenox before the procedure, and the next morning before discharging patient from the hospital, but we encourage ambulation following abdominoplasty to prevent blood clots. No blood thinner is prescribed for patient during the recovery period.

You will likely have a drain following surgery, which typically stays in for about 2 weeks, give or take. Once the drain is out, you will be able to do some walking for weeks 3-4, with some compression to your abdomen, such as Spanx. Then you will most likely be able to ease back into exercising. At 6 weeks you will be able to resume normal activity without restrictions.

You look like a great abdominoplasty candidate, and from the pictures, I do not think you would need an extended abdominoplasty. Possibly some liposuction to your flank/backside to improve contours, but this would need to be determined on exam by board certified plastic surgeon. From the pictures, I think you would be a good candidate for implant removal and breast lift with or without fat grafting. You may not have the upper pole fullness that comes from having breast implants, but you do seem to have a good amount of breast tissue to have a good natural looking result.

It does appear that you would benefit from implant exchange to a much smaller implant because you seem to have a good amount of your own breast tissue. Breast lift with smaller implant and areola reduction is my recommendation from your pictures. A tummy tuck can usually be performed at the same operation, as well as, liposuction of flanks ("love handles") to accentuate waist line.

From your photos alone, and no physical exam, you would benefit most from a lift, which is called a mastopexy. If you want more upper pole fullness, this would require an implant as well. So you are probably wanting a lift with implants. Implant size is hard to determine without exam and breast measurements so consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon for best opinion.
