PRP MIGHT be able to help if the hair follicles were not too badly damaged, but you would need a series of 3+ treatments over 3+ months, and then probably more treatments spaced over the next 6-9 months to see IF you can restore the damaged hairs. For most cases, including “mommy makeover’” I use BMI 35 as my upper limit. Of course that number is a guideline and not absolute, as people’s bodies are shaped differently. That said, a BMI in the high 30’s, let alone 40’s or 50’s is generally off the table for me as too high risk, and I recommend these patients seek nutritional counseling and support with weight loss.

Reducing your areolae can be done, but consider that there may be long term “puckering” around the perimeter of the reduced areolae. This is due to the mismatch between the current and proposed areolar perimeters, and that skin only has so much elasticity. Longer answer: Consultation with a plastic surgeon very experienced with revision breast augmentation will help you make the decision as to whether you need/want to move from subpectoral (“under the muscle”) to submammary (over the muscle).
