Should I be concerned? Lumps in breasts 10 mo PO BA
Lumps after surgery
May 28, 2019
Do not worry about being "that patient". Your surgeon also wants to be sure you are healing well and without any issues. If you are developing new lumps and have concerns, I recommend you request to be evaluated again by your surgeon.
1 week post op nipple and natural breast hanging below implant. Will this possibly correct itself? (Pho
Concerns about nipple position
May 28, 2019
It is way to early to determine what your final results will be. At this stage, you still have a lot of swelling and the implants still have to settle. Give yourself some more time to heal (at least a few months) and if you still have concerns then, I recommend you speak with your surgeon about options.
Massage for teardrop implants?
Massaging implants
May 28, 2019
This is a question that gets asked a lot by patients and the answer varies from surgeon to surgeon. Some surgeons advise all of their augmentation patients to massage the implants, others specifically advise against it. There is not necessarily one "right" way to do it. I recommend you reach out to your surgeons office and see his or her preference.
How soon can I get a breast revision after breast aug
How soon for revision?
May 28, 2019
I am sorry you are unhappy with your results. There is not a standard time required before doing a revision as each surgeon and each situation is unique. You are very early out from your surgery, however, and it may be best to give yourself some more time to heal. As time passes, swelling will resolve and you may feel differently about your results.
Can I get a lift with existing implants?
breast lift with old implants
May 22, 2019
It may be possible to get a breast lift without exchanging your current implants for new ones. There is, however, a risk of injury to the implant during the surgery. Another point to mention is that your implants are already 10 years old. Since you will be under general anesthesia already, it may be wise to exchange the implants for new ones while you have the opportunity.
Is it possible to just raise the nipples without a breast lift?
Changing nipple position
May 22, 2019
Without photos it is very difficult to determine the best option for your breasts. In general, most women with low set nipples do best with a full breast lift. There may be a possibility of removing a small section of skin above the areola which would lift the nipple only, but you would need to be evaluated in person to determine if this is an appropriate option for you. I recommend you schedule a consultation with a plastic surgeon for more information.

mommy makeover with hypothyroidism
May 22, 2019
Based on your photos, you appear to be a good candidate for a mommy makeover. If you are diagnosed with hypothyroidism, you would want to be sure the condition is well controlled prior to undergoing any surgery. Once you meet with a plastic surgeon, he or she will want to know any other medical conditions you may have and may request certain tests or clearances prior to surgery.
Things are still numb 6 months post-op. Will feeling ever come back?
Numbness after surgery
May 22, 2019
Although it sometimes can be permanent, numbness after surgery is more commonly temporary and will slowly resolve over a year or more.
6 weeks post op mommy makeover. I have pleats on my sides. Will these flatten out over time?
Six weeks post mommy makeover
May 22, 2019
You are very early in the healing phase after your surgery. You body is going through a lot of changes and there is still a significant amount of swelling. Allow some more time to heal and if you still have these concerns in a few months, I encourage you to discuss them with your surgeon.

Drain removal
May 22, 2019
Your drain is putting out a volume that many surgeons would feel meets criteria for removal. That said, it is always best to discuss these types of issues with your surgeon for best results. It is common to not be able to stand completely upright 2 weeks after this surgery. It should slowly get easier to straighten over the next few weeks.
Are there permanent working out restrictions after my mommy makeover?
Permanent restricitons
Mar 30, 2019
You will not have any permanent restrictions after your surgery. Ask your surgeon for specific times to avoid strenuous activity post operatively since each surgeon has his or her own recommendations. Once that time has passed and you have healed, you can go back to full activity including weight lifting.
Which procedure should I do first (Tummy tuck/ breast argumentation) or BBL? Where would the fat come f
BBL or tummy tuck first?
Mar 30, 2019
I recommend you do the BBL first so your surgeon will have the option of taking donor fat from the abdomen and/or flanks to be used to add volume to the buttocks. Then, at least 3 months later, you can do the tummy tuck and any remaining fat can be removed via liposuction.
Hate My Post Pregnancy Belly
Postpartum belly
Mar 30, 2019
There is not necessarily a standard timeframe to have a tummy tuck after pregnancy but there are a few things you want to ask yourself. First of all, are you planning to get pregnant again? If so, it is best to wait to have surgery until you are done having kids. Second, are you breastfeeding? If so, you should wait to do surgery until you have weaned. Lastly, is your weight is mostly stable? If you are still in the process of losing weight after pregnancy, you should...
How would I know if I have necrosis after tummy tuck?
Concerns about necrosis
Mar 30, 2019
Based on your photos, it does not appear you have any skin necrosis after your surgery. If you were to have necrosis, this would cause skin breakdown and ultimately open wounds. If you note either of these, you should contact your surgeon.
I am 7weeks post opp. My stomach still not flat. Do you think my skin was pulled tight enough?
Tummy tuck swelling
Mar 30, 2019
It is difficult to evaluate your final results this soon after your surgery. You are still very swollen and it can often take close to a year for this to resolve. You will see your results improve slowly each month as swelling decreases and your body continues to heal.
