The answer to what type of liposuction to use is whatever your chosen provider is most comfortable with- the precise instruments used for this procedure are less important than the hands (and head) of the provider wielding them. Recovery time will vary but typically it’s 4-6 days to be back to light everyday activities and 4-6 weeks to get to strenuous activities. You look like a good candidate.

It’s definitely possible that your implants have shifted. At less than a month after surgery you should still be wearing a surgical bra and strap pretty much 24/7. Bouncing and working out are no nos. You should go in and have your surgeon look at it.

Sometimes one side will settle more slowly than the other and more often than not it seems to be on the dominant side. In many cases this will settle out over time wearing the band and with a little massage. In some cases there will be the need for a lower pole release. This is usually a straight forward procedure with a much easier recovery than the original surgery.

I can’t give a definitive answer just from the photograph but it looks to me like the pockets may have been a little over dissected towards the center of the chest in order to try to create cleavage. If this is correct a number of options come to mind including tightening of the pocket, switch to a smaller or narrower (high profile) implant, or even switching to a shaped implant. All the options have pros and cons and need to be discussed with your surgeon.

Muscle spasms and pain are not rare after this type of surgery. Generally we expect this sort of thing to settle over 2-3 months. Our first line treatment is non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen. If that’s not cutting it your doctor may want to try a muscle relaxant but most of us are hesitant about using that kind of medication for any prolonged period.

In my opinion, in the absence of other medical problems that might make prolonged general anesthesia unsafe, there’s no good reason not to do breast reduction at the same time as a tummy tuck in your case. Both areas can be accessed at the same time which makes for efficient surgery and frankly getting your downtime for recovery combined is very convenient.

It looks like you’ve got two distinct inframammary folds- one at the level of the scar from your breast reduction and one at the level where the native tissue wants to sit. It should be possible with revision along that inframammary scar to get that corrected or at least improved. This can definitely be done at the time of breast augmentation.

My experience is that cases like yours always need some direct excision of tissue along with the liposuction. This is done via a peri-areolar (around the nipple) incision that leave a very minimal scar. Even when liposuction goes well and I think I got all of it when I open it up there’s always a nice hunk of glandular tissue in there.

You appear to have a moderate amount of fat and pretty good elasticity. I think you could get a pretty nice result with simple liposuction of the lower abdomen and flanks. You have a small indentation/irregularity just above your belly button. This would show minimal if any improvement with liposuction and would require a more extensive tummy tuck procedure but it doesn’t look bad and it’s not bothering you apparently so I’d suggest you leave it alone.
