Brown spots on my face - what is the best way to get rid of them?
Hyperpigmentation
Feb 25, 2020
Feb 25, 2020
The hyperpigmentation in your forehead looks deeper than what BBL/IPL can remove. In these cases, Halo works best because it can target deeper/harder to treat types of hyperpigmentation in a way that no other laser can. Other types of hyperpigmentation over your nose and cheeks would be best treated with BBL.

My preferred treatment for this is Halo. I’ve treated very similar looking skin in this area with great success.
What are some facials (peels etc) I can do to improve lines and wrinkles?
Contour TRL for Smokers wrinkles
Feb 9, 2020
Feb 9, 2020
Perioral wrinkles are usually very deep and require deeper laser resurfacing. I’ve had great success using contour TRL to treat these. Ideally I would combine Halo over the rest of the face and use Contour TRL over the entire area around the mouth and deeper over the wrinkles. Contour TRL is an ablative laser that removes the layers of skin completely so the body can regrow collagen and elastin and skin from scratch. The downside is that you would have to avoid any sun exposure for aroun...

Halo is a hybrid fractional laser that will stimulate new collagen by removing old collagen. I’ve found this works better than therapies like thermage or radio frequency that use heat to denature but not completely remove the old collagen.
Which is safer, AND would provide the best results for sun spots, fine lines and crows feet: micronee
Halo is much better than micro needling
Jan 23, 2020
Jan 23, 2020
I perform both Halo and Micro needling coupled with PRP and Halo is a much more effective procedure for the indications that you mentioned. In addition to being more potent at regenerating collagen, Halo helps improve skin tone, Texture, vascularity and even out pigmentation. The primary reason why Halo is better at regenerating collagen is that it causes the body to remove the old damaged collagen and grow new collagen, rather than other therapies like micro needling that stimulate r...
PRP for female pattern hair loss: is there any difference in the type of platelet spinner?
High Density PRP
Jan 21, 2020
Jan 21, 2020
Absolutely. Test tube systems with a binding gel barely concentrate platelets above the baseline level in blood. The “drug” we are using is growth factors that are contained in platelets. If you don’t concentrate that drug then it won’t have any effect and that is much more expensive than the $300 it may cost to get a treatment using a legitimate platelet RICH plasma processing kit/centrifuge that can concentrate platelets by 5-7 times baseline levels in blood. In addition, some kits use a t...
Can PRP eye drops help relieve or cure dry irritated eyes?
PRP eye drops
Jan 12, 2020
Jan 12, 2020
I’ve had success using PRP eye drops in my patients with dry eye. The preparation is unique and it is important that the kit the doctor uses to prepare the PRP actually concentrates platelets (50% or more of practitioners are using dilute plasma that does nothing). Find a specialist in regenerative medicine (not just someone who also does PRP) and you will likely find a doctor who can prepare these. Most Ophthalmologists are not using PRP in their practice. Dry eye is multi factorial and P...
