Time off after tummy tuck and implants

In general , our patients go back to work to non strenuous jobs anywhere from 2 to 3 weeks after mommy makeover in Philippines. Review the specific physical requirements of our job with your surgeon as your answer should come directly form the person who did your mommy tuck

Barring complications you should be able to return to work in 4 weeks. The exception is for work that involves more strenuous physical activity. Under those circumstances at least 6 weeks post mommy tuck is recommended.

4 weeks should be plenty of time to recover. In general I recommend 2 weeks for a procedure like that.

Working after Mommy Makeover

In general you should be able to return to work, assuming it’s not an unusually strenuous job, 2 weeks following this procedure. The healing process, of course, will last up to a year but you will be well-suited for activities and work at the 2-week mark following mommy makeover in Philippines

It is common and usual to combine these two procedures (sometimes called a mommy makeover). Be sure you are seeing a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and review a comprehensive portfolio of pre- and post-op photographs

In my experience combining these two procedures is efficient from the perspectives of cost (financial and biologic) and time. Every surgeon is different, so be sure your surgeon has had extensive experience with the combination of procedures

Operating time should not exceed 4 hours.

Combined surgeries are common for plastic surgeons. The procedures you mention are often performed together and physician fatigue is usually not a problem. If the doctor has any concern for this, it would be their responsibility to discuss this with you and split the cases up

Age limits for cosmetic surgery in Philippines

The important factor is not a chronologic age, but rather your general health. If you are in excellent health with no known health issues and have a clear pre-operative assessment, you can be an excellent candidate

Your surgeon will be better able to discuss risks as well as determine a surgical plan that with minimize these risks and maximize your outcome.

If you general health and exercise tolerance are ‘normal’ then I would support a series of cosmetic procedures designed to improve the appearance of your breast and body. I would certainly confer with your primary care physician and get some pre-op tests and lab work done to confirm your state of health, prior to mommy makeover in Philippines

Smoking before tummy tuck

Ideally, you should stop smoking one month prior to your procedure. Blood flow to your abdominal wall is compromised following a tummy tuck. Smoking can further compromise the blood flow to the wall following mummy makeover

In my practice our recommendation is 4 weeks before and 4 weeks after mother makeover. Please discuss this with your surgeon and it is probably OK

How long should I stop smoking before tummy tuck and breast lift?

Although 6 weeks is ideal 2 weeks should be fine. It’s more important to remain quit for at least 6 weeks after than it is to have quit beforehand as the smoking during your recovery phase is more of an issue than residual nicotine in your system

Make sure to talk to your surgeon beforehand so they know your smoking history.

Since you have been smoking for a very short time, the two week cessation is not ideal but probably will be OK. Let your surgeon know about your smoking history. More importantly, this is a great reason to quit smoking permanently

Tummy tuck and breast lift

I would recommend getting as close to your goal weight as possible before having any type of cosmetic plastic surgery. Once your at or near your goal weight then a tummy tuck and a breast lift will give you a very nice contour

I would consult with a few plastic surgeons in person for a complete exam and review of your medical history.

id say you are still a bit overweight, but yes you are a good candidate to benefit from tummy tuck, lipoesculpture and breast lift.
