One may get skin discoloration after rhinoplasty. New capillaries/ small blood vessels underneath the skin may develop as well. When hot, these vessels dilate, and more blood reaches the surface. It is best to avoid sun exposure with factor 50+ cream and hat in the first post operative year.

Than you for your questions and for sharing this photograph. This is astraight forward surgery and good outcome is expected. Of course, any surgery carries risks and small risks of infection, scarring and minor irregularity may exist. This is a daycase surgery and she can go home on the same day. No significant pain expected but taking carpol for a couple of days may be helpful. Any ENT surgeon that operates on Children is able to perform such surgery.
