Biography: Dr. Courtney Holmes, APRN (she/her) is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner, medical director, injector, and owner of Milford Med Spa. She is experienced and trained in advanced techniques with neuromodulators, dermal fillers, PDO Threads, microneedling, body sculpting, medical weight loss, and BHRT. Courtney has an abundance of experience in the field of acupuncture after completing the CT Acupuncture Certification Program. Prior to opening Milford Med Spa, she worked a national level med spa, providing quality services and after completing her injectables training program. Previously, she served for more than a decade as a wound care specialist, with experience in conservative sharp debridement. She continually receives education and training from experts in the field. LGBTQ+ affirming care is Courtney’s passion and she uses this drive to work towards being the go-to provider in CT for gender-affirming non-surgical facial masculinizing and feminizing treatments.

She is a licensed Certified Nurse Aide with seven years of experience providing compassionate care to her clients in their homes, which she still does independently. Dawn also brings ten years of experience working in a salon setting providing therapeutic and beauty treatments. Dawn is experienced and trained in our facials, Obagi Medical skin care products, and body sculpting treatments with EmSculpt Neo and Cellutone. Biography: Dr. Ellen Makar, DNP, RN (she/her) is passionate about providing medical spa treatments to prevent and reverse the signs of aging, having benefited from Botox for many years herself but wishing she had begun sooner. Ellen is trained in Botox/Dysport/Xeomin treatments to the forehead, elevens, and crows feet by Dr. Russo of Aesthetic Mentor in CT, and she mentored with our medical director, Dr. Courtney Holmes, DNP, APRN, upon joining our staff. She is also trained in our facial treatments with microdermabrasion, hydrofacial, and radiofrequency, Obagi Medical skin care, microneedling, and body sculpting with EmSculpt Neo and Cellutone (for cellulite). Ellen facilitates our monthly support group for those in our medical weight loss program with semaglutide or Contrave. Her clients commend her attention to detail and smooth foreheads without adverse effects. Ellen loves educating clients about all of our services, so ask away when you meet her!

Biography: Diana Greenia, MSN, APRN (she/her/ella) is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner, specializing in medical aesthetic treatments and medical weight loss. She is experienced and trained in procedures such as microneedling and body sculpting, and she provides medical weight loss treatment with direct to consumer Contrave. She earned her BA from Southern Connecticut State University, as well as her B.S. in Nursing from Fairfield University. Afterwards, she moved on to earn her Master’s in Nursing from Quinnipiac University. Her post-graduation education includes an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach Certificate and a CT Acupuncture Certification. She is fluent in both Spanish and English and is more than happy to take care of Spanish-speaking patients.

Biography: Dana Harden, APRN (she/her) is skilled and experienced in providing Botox/Dysport/Xeomin to the forehead, elevens, and crows, microneedling, and body sculpting with EmSculpt Neo. She was trained by Dr. Russo of Aesthetic Mentor in CT, and mentored with our medical director, Dr. Courtney Holmes, APRN after joining our staff. Prior to becoming an APRN, Dana worked as a cardiac nurse for many years. Now, she is a well loved primary care provider in the community and enjoys creatively expanding her skills with aesthetic treatments. In addition to studying to become an Adult Nurse Practitioner, Dana has studied art (drawing and painting the human form), herbal medicine, and massage therapy. Her clients appreciate her skilled hand, attention to detail, and kind approach.

Biography: Dr. Logan Stern, DNP, APRN (she/her) is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Holistic Nurse Practitioner. She specializes in medical aesthetic treatments and is experienced in carrying out microneedling and body sculpting procedures. She provides Emsculpt NEO and SkinPen microneedling treatments at Milford Med Spa.

Logan grew up in Milford and attended East Shore Middle School, then Lauralton Hall. She went on to earn her BA in Philosophy from the University of Connecticut as well as her BS in Nursing from there. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Quinnipiac University.

She is passionate about providing quality LGBTQ+ affirming medical care as well as lifelong preventative healthcare.

Logan and Courtney are sisters, both growing up in Milford. She’s also the fur mom to (another!) miniature schnauzer, Remy.

Biography: Nicole Rogucki, APRN (she/her) is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner. She specializes in medical aesthetic treatments and is an expert in carrying out body sculpting procedures. She provides Emsculpt NEO and Cellutone treatments at Milford Med Spa.

Nicole earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University in Connecticut, where she was awarded membership in Sigma Theta Tau, National Honor Society for Nursing. She completed the CT Acupuncture Certification Program. Nicole brings with her over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse in the operating room, and has several years of experience providing body procedures including CoolSculpting and CoolTone.

In addition to working with us, Nicole owns and operates Grace James Aesthetics at Milford Med Spa. She provides IV drip therapy, chemical peels, acupuncture, dermaplaning, and microneedling. She will be adding more services in the near future.
