Short answer – no. But aesthetic companies train and provide certifications.

There is no state or national regulation when it comes to physician assistants and injectables, specifically. Therefore no certification is required. However, all companies (Allergan, Galderma, etc) provide certifications after a medical professional gets trained with one of their licensed trainers. I would obviously choose a provider who has had official training from one of the aesthetic companies.
