Thank you for question. Since Sculptra is dissolved in water there is initial swelling from the injections that will eventually resolve. It takes several months to see results from the collagen stimulation process from placement of Sculptra. Depending on many factors the amount of Sculptra that needs to be injected is different in every patient, but it is a very effective way to naturally restore lost facial volume.  
My arm aches after getting the Bellafill skin test. Should I not get Bellafill?

Thank you very much for your question. The Bellafill skin test is made of collagen and allergies to it are very rare. I have had three patients with a positive test and their forearm was at the site of the test was red like a bee sting. The effects of a positive on the forearm are minimal and cause no harm to the patient. It just means the patient cannot use Bellafill. Luckily this is very rare. Thank you for question. After most procedures like Cellfina and liposuction we have the patient avoid exercise for 2 weeks to decrease the chance of prolonged swelling and bruising.
