Hi Gessica, based on your pictures it seems that you are a great candidate for a BBL. I would not recommend to lose any more weight. You must keep in mind that you can lose up to 30% of the fat that is injected and your wish pictures are nice and large in volume. The more fat available the better your gluteal projection will be. Hi Megrapp, the recovery for a BBL is usually 2 wks. The first couple of days can be tough. Patients are weak and complain of headaches and fatigue. I prescribe all of my liposuction patients iron tablets to be taken 3 times a day which helps with the possible anemia that can result from having a BBL. All of my patients use a boppy pillow to sit on during the first month. The actual surgery can take anywhere from 2-3 hours depending on how many areas of liposuction...

Hi Mslcortez, it is best to have your BMI under 32 before surgery. Your current BMI (body mass index) is 38.4 you need to get down to 175 lbs to have a BBL with minimal risks. You can do it! :)

You can definitely tone up after surgery once you are fully healed. I highly recommend it to all my patients. Just keep in mind that usually if you lose more than 10 pounds you will notice a loss of volume on your gluts. Best Regards,Dr Miami :)

There are no specific exercises that I recommend to my patients before
surgery. I always encourage all of my patients to work out once they are fully
healed. It is important to keep in mind that if you begin to lose weight after
a BBL your butt will go down proportional with your body. Most of my patients
stay away from intense cardio and focus on toning their body by weight
training.

All of these questions depend on which surgeon you choose. All of my patients are required to get full medical clearance and blood work before surgery. The medical clearance is good for 6 months and the blood work is good for 30 days. Depending on your goal and your current BMI will determine if you need to gain, lose or maintain your current weight. I have many patients who fly in from different states and from different countries. My
patients usually stay 7-14 days post-surgery and then fly back home. They must
sit on their boppy pillow during the flight and they also must walk to the bathroom a
couple of times depending on how long the flight is.
