Hi, great question and you are not alone. The majority of ladies seeking breast augmentation surgery are ladies who have finished their families looking for a fuller chest. The key to doing the correct surgery is the patients wishes and how much volume they are considering. With this in mind you may choose an implant only surgery or an implant and lift surgery. These surgeries are completely different and require a detailed surgical plan.

Hi, interesting question. There are plenty of studies in the plastic surgery journals that show no difference, aesthetically between anatomical and round implants. The only interesting fact, currently is that textured shaped implants should be used with caution because of the associated risk of lymphoma. You should really only consider smooth round implants in the current climate. Ask you plastic surgeon about breast implant associated ALCL.

Hi, great question. Choosing the correct breast implant can be very confusing and you should take your time to consider all the different possibilities. There are some restrictions and guidelines when considering a natural look. You and your plastic surgeon need to consider your breast width, going beyond this will leave you with an unnatural look. Hi, great question. The answer is yes, of course, and if you have insurance maybe you are covered to have the single breast lift surgery. The only thing is and this should be discussed with your plastic surgeon, is there enough breast tissue and volume in the ptotic breast, the breast that hangs down and out to match the preferred breast. Hi, great question. Yes, there are limits to the size of your Nipple Areolar complex based on anatomy, blood supply and aesthetic considerations. The best approach is to discuss what you want with your Plastic Surgeon and work out what is possible. The usual is a diameter of about 4.5-5 cm. I don’t know how that would suit ? Good luck.

Hi, Great question and a difficult question to answer. Every plastic surgeon should have an approach to breast augmentation surgery that is very specific to the patients goals. They have to consider the patients skin envelope and breast tissue when deciding the best size/shape/volume implants to use. You should look for 3D simulation in the clinic to help decide your breast implants. Or try the rice bag challenge. Hope this helps in your decision making. Good luck.
