Wide breasts. Better results with augmentation alone or lift plus augmentation with my mommy make
Breast Augmentation and Lift Often Go Together
Jul 19, 2018
A breast augmentation with a lift will give you the volume and shape you desire.  With widely spaced breasts, I have found that implants placed over the muscle (and under the breasts) will allow the breasts and their cleavage to move closer together.  If under the muscle, implants will have a tendency to be pushed out to the sides by the inner edge of the muscles which is attached to the breast bone.   After an examination, your plastic surgeon can tell you what is best for you.

FaceTite is great for early changes
Jul 19, 2018
FaceTite with a platysmaplasty may be perfect for you!  The two bands are taken care of with the platysmaplasty which brings them together to eliminate the separation and tighten the neck muscles.  FaceTite is a minimally invasive treatment to melt fat (if you have any) and tighten the skin at the same time.  This combination is the solution for early changes seen in the neck and face.  After an examination, your plastic surgeon can make a recommendation for you.
I have a hard red bump under my skin at the corner of my eye. Is this something to be concerned w
Post Operative Healing takes time after Eyelid Surgery
Jul 9, 2018
Most likely your concerns are related to the usual post-surgical healing with swelling and under the skin changes.  The eyelids are very thin and the muscles weak, so a little swelling can really hold them back and make them puffy.  A suture is often placed along the outer edge of the lower eyelid to hold the muscle tight, so you may be seeing the suture knots at the corner of you eye.  It is also possible to have a bit more inflammation than normal that aggravates the healing process.  In a…
Are any of these an effective non invasive solution for dissolving fat transfer?
Fat Transfer can be reversed
Jul 9, 2018
Yes, there are a variety of non-invasive treatments to reduce fat – either natural or transferred fat.  You have mentioned several.  All should be used very cautiously and slowly to get just “the right amount” to disappear and not overdue it.  Some of the transferred fat will not survive and will naturally go away.  You need to wait at least 12 months to be sure you are treating what has survived.  Discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon and he can help you achieve your goals.
Am I a good candidate for tip plasty with local anesthesia only?
Tip Rhinoplasty can be done under local anesthesia
Jun 15, 2018
Yes, a tip rhinoplasty certainly can be done with local anesthesia only.  The use of local anesthesia is universally used for rhinoplasty.  The twilight or general anesthesia is only used to allow painless injection of the local anesthesia, as well as to reduce anxiety and keep you comfortably still during the procedure.  There are different forms of twilight anesthesia, also, so a little bit of sedation might be fine for you.  Your plastic surgeon can help you after a consultation and exam…

Mommy Makeover works wonders
Jun 15, 2018
A mommy makeover is a wonderful way to improve your overall appearance and address the concerns you, and most women, have!  With a breast lift, your excess skin is removed and a little tissue might be removed to even out your breasts.  The implants will provide the additional size, shape, and fullness you want.  A tummy tuck will remove the excess abdominal skin and fat, as well as tighten the abdominal muscles, but will not improve your thighs.  Liposuction and BodyTite are great for red…
Could fat transfer help with my love handles and “saddle bags” or hip dips, at same time?
Liposuction and Fat Transfer Work Together
Jun 15, 2018
Liposuction with fat transfer work great together!  Removing excess fat and then using it to fill in an adjacent deficiency is an excellent plan.  Your plastic surgeon can make a recommendation for you after an examination.
Are hard, rigid neck bands normal after a lower face/neck lift? 2.5 weeks post-op.
Healing takes Time after a Face/Necklift
Jun 15, 2018
Yes, it is entirely normal and expected to see firm areas develop a couple of weeks after surgery.  Under the skin a process has begun to heal from your procedures.  Bruising, traumatized fat, and normal healing produces a great deal of tissue that has to be removed and transformed.  This process involves inflammation, which is the body’s response to heal.  So, there are areas that are more inflamed (firm) than others – creating the lumpiness you  feel.  Additionally, the skin is heali…

A Rhinoplasty is in your Future!
May 11, 2018
Yes, you definitely can improve those areas of concern with a rhinoplasty.  A rhinoplasty is not really a “big” operation, but rather, an “artistic” operation.  Unfortunately, you cannot achieve results by just pulling up the skin.  Modification to the underlying bone and cartilage with the addition of a cartilage graft will allow you to have the nose you want.  After an examination and a consultation, your plastic surgeon can show you what you need.
Neck lift lower facelift: Is tightness normal 4 days post-op?
Tightness is Normal after Necklift and Facelift
May 11, 2018
Absolutely!  The tightness after a neck and/or facelift is a combination of actual skin and muscle tightening, normal post-operative swelling, numbness, and the healing process beneath the skin.  It will get better!  Allow these normal changes to run their course (which will take many weeks) and you will be thrilled.  Be sure to follow-up with your surgeon and he can give you the reassurance you need.
Do I need a neck lift?
FaceTite at 34
Apr 13, 2018
Well, it is hard to be sure, but it does not appear that you really need a necklift.  In times past, a minilift might be considered.  However, FaceTite is just the solution for early changes seen in young patients, such as you!  FaceTite is a minimally invasive procedure to melt the underlying fat AND tighten the skin – at the same time.  It is perfect in cases where the skin is not hanging and the muscle is not loose.  FaceTite is a relatively newly-approved procedure, so be sure you see …

Facelift Incisions take time to heal
Apr 13, 2018
Incisions heal at their own rate!  Most will be acceptable (or easily hidden with hair or makeup) within 3 weeks or so.  Depending upon the exact procedure done, there could be some wrinkling or puckering for many more weeks.  Yes, one side could be more swollen (or bruised) than the other.  Final scar maturation occurs over at least 12 months.  Discuss your concerns with your plastic surgeon, as he is the one who is best able to put it all together and help you through the healing period.
Can I get breast implants and revised tummy tuck at the same time?
Breast Implants and Tummy Tuck go Together
Apr 13, 2018
Absolutely!  Breast augmentation and tummy tucks (or revision) are commonly done together.  Termed a “Mommy Makeover” – some liposuction is often a part of the combination.  This is the perfect time to get ready for summer!
Mini vs regular tummy tuck? Lift + implants?
A Tummy Tuck and Breast Implants will be Perfect
Apr 9, 2018
Yes, you certainly appear to need a full tummy tuck.  Don’t worry, an experienced plastic surgeon will get your scar and belly button in the perfect position!  I also believe that a breast lift with implants will probably be best in your situation – you need a bit more volume and shape along with skin tightening.  When you see your plastic surgeon, you can “try on” implants (on the outside under your clothes) in order to see what size you prefer.  After an examination, recommendations tai…
7 years post rhinoplasty and the tip of the nose still feels stiff. Should I be worried?
Stiff feeling Tip of Nose is Normal after Surgery
Mar 27, 2018
No, your feeling of stiffness may be normal – even after a prolonged time.  Without knowing what was done during your procedure, one cannot be certain, but the changes made and scar tissue may permanently change the way it feels.  Check with your plastic surgeon and I’m sure he can give you advice after an examination.  If your nose looks good, I would not be too worried!
