Can nose collapse after rhinoplasty due to no nose retainer?

Hello, the nostril retainers using depend to surgeon’s preferences. But yes, it’s true that the retainers prevents the nose from collapsing. If you have the weak alar cartilage it’s good to use the retainer in order to avoid the collapsing. bests

You should wait for a while. It seems you have thick skin and it’s so normal to have swelling. Also the swelling may cause uneven nostrils. After 15 months we should assess again, to decide revision surgery or not.Best

It seems you dont like nose shape and position. And up rotation of your nose elongates your upper lip. So I think the first option of fixing your both nose and upper lip is revision rhinoplasty. I will shorten your upper lip and nose shape. Plus if you want more we may add the lip lift to the rhinoplasty. Bests.
