Intermittent swelling after any form of liposuction is normal. I normally tell my clients/patients that this is likely to last up to 6 weeks, so your situation seems normal. I do not think you will do any damage by continuing with your yoga. I also advise my lipo patients to undergo remedial (deep tissue) massage every week for 8 weeks after any lipo procedure. Massage and exercise to commence 2 weeks after the surgery.

With any form of lipo ( traditional, ultrasound or laser) there is a fine line between removing too much and not enough. Having said that, I do believe that only 1 litre removed for the areas you describe is too little. It does depend on how much excess fat in these areas you started off with.

I am very familiar with both Vaser ( ultrasound Lipo) and Laser lipo (Alma Lasers LipoLife) but not with airsculpt. Irregularities and lumpiness is quite common after a lipo procedure. The issue of whether this is permanent depends on factors such as; was the surgery done with traditional lipo or was it done using one of the more high tech systems like ultrasound or laser assisted liposuction? Laser procedures create “wounds” in the skin that heal over time.
