Sculpsure consequences? I have noticed fat growing in other part of the body.
SculpSure and fat elsewhere
Jul 2, 2018
Thank you for your question. Any procedure to reduce fat demands stablilty of weight otherwise you can put on fat in other areas of the body. If you weight it stable, this is usually minimal but stability of weight is simply mandatory. Many patients require more than one session of treatments also to get the best result.
I am trying to decide between Fraxel or Cutera Limelight for browning, freckly skin
Lasers and Skin Pigmentation
Jun 27, 2018
Fraxel Dual 1927 is a great laser for pigmentation and one may require 2 -3 treatments 4 weeks apart. There is downtime associated with this, therefore another option would be PicoSure, which has almost no downtime and again, multiple treatments may be required. Both are excellent lasers to treat this however. Maintenance is very important with all these lasers however. There are many many lasers that treat this but I have no information about the Cutera you...
Can I get fraxel (non-ablative) laser every 2-3 weeks?
Fraxel Frequency
Jun 27, 2018
Thank you for your question. It is probably best to do Fraxel Dual 1927 every 4 weeks for pigmentation. If scarring is the greater problem, I would use the Fraxel Dual 1550 wavelength and again at 4 week intervals. You could also do a combination of 1550/1927 monthly but I would recommend spacing them 4 weeks apart. There are other modalities also. Probably the best is still CO2 ablative but it has a long down time with redness and the possibility of...
Can I have an orthovisc shot in my knee? I have arthritis after having SculpSure treatment.
Knee Injection post SculpSure
Jun 25, 2018
Since the two are not related there is no reason you could not have an injection of orthovisc if your physician feels it would be of benefit. I should have no benefit or adverse effect to the SculpSure.
Thank you.!
Droopy eyelid and deep laughing lines
surgery vs nonsurgery for your eyelid concerns
Jun 21, 2018
One would definately need to see better photos before making that decision. I would recommend a consultationg with someone who has the ability to do surgery and the non invasive procedures to get the best answer. The consultation would allow the physician to truly know your expectations which is critical. Often, with a combination of modalities, one can defer surgery but rarely can one get a surgical type result non invasively, so I would recommend a board...
Did my doctor do too much Ultherapy treatment? used 4.0mm, 3.0mm and 1.5mm all over my face and neck.
Ultherapy treatment and levels used
Jun 18, 2018
Thanks for your question. Multiple levels are used depending on the thickness of your skin and the excactly what you are trying to treat. Skin rejuvenation is enhanced at the more superficial levels. Without seeing your skin and skin type and the degree of laxity, it is truly impossible to give an authoratative answer. You really need to discuss this with the person or physician who treated you for the best possible explanation. Other modalities in combination...
I am having a hysterectomy in 4 weeks. Is it ok for me to have SculpSure done on my arms now?
SculpSure timing.
Jun 11, 2018
The two are totally unrelated and you can certainly have SculpSure on your arms anytime before a hysterectomy or even after that surgery.
