To best answer your question, I'd have to say that Sculptra would be a poor choice for buttock enhancement. Quite simply, you'd need a tremendous amount of Sculptra to yield any appreciable improvement in buttock projection or contour. Given that I use an average of 8-10 vials of Sculptra in a typical facial rejuvenation case, you'd likely need upwards of 30-40 vials to yield any appreciable change to your buttocks. Your problem is an extremely common one in my practice. The good news is that your concern can absolutely be addressed. I have a number of different lasers in my practice that I use to address abnormal pigmentation in Hispanic skin types. If you have a good relationship with your existing surgeon, then you should stick with him/her for your revision.Better advice would be to undergo complete capsulectomy rather than capsulotomy.
