Am I a candidate for a regular or reverse tummy tuck and breast lift?
I hope this helps!
Sep 21, 2020
Great question and it is evident you have done some homework. While it is impossible to make a formal recommendation without an in-person consultation, here are my thoughts based on the pictures you provided and your expressed desires: You do have a long torso and a relatively lower set belly button. The abdominoplasty incision is controlled by where your surgeon makes the incision. You could still have a very low and easy to conceal transverse incision. However, depending on the elasticity…
Can I have breast implants, tummy tuck & fat transfer to glutes all in one surgery?
Here is my recommendation
Sep 21, 2020
Great question! The short answer to the question is yes, but do you really want to? The amount of surgery someone can have depends on a lot of factors. First is the health of the patient. Depending on how healthy a patient is and any medical problems plays a large role in what procedures can be done and what can be combined. The next factor would be how much time it takes to do these procedures. There is data that suggests that the complication rates take a noticeable rise after about 6…
Can you still get plastic surgery if you are allergic to bacitracin?
Enjoy the journey!
Sep 21, 2020
The fast answer to your question is yes. While Bacitracin is a common antibiotic to be used in irrigation and for topical wound care, there are many alternatives. If it is listed as one of your allergies, it won’t be used and you should be fine. I have moved away from bacitracin as an ingredient in my irrigation and use Puracyn almost exclusively. Go to a reputable board-certified plastic surgeon who will take you to a certified surgery center and you shouldn’t have any problems. Enjoy the…
Would I be a good candidate for a breast fat transfer? Also would a mini tummy tuck be better than jus
Great Questions!
Sep 21, 2020
Thanks for posting these very good questions. Fat grafting to the body and especially the breast is increasing in popularity very quickly. These are one of my favorite procedures to do as the success rate and satisfaction scores are very high. It is difficult to tell you how good of a candidate you would be for these procedures based on a single photo, but I can answer some basics that should help you. Liposculpting and fat transfer are a perfect combination as we all have areas that we…
Are my breast tuberous and will a breast augmentation fix this?
Find a doctor you trust.
Aug 19, 2020
Thank you for sharing your question and concerns. I’m sorry you have been self-conscious about your breasts for so long. The term “Tuberous” is used a lot and often inappropriately. Another term often used is a “Constricted” or “Restricted” breast. Unfortunately, there hasn’t been uniformity in the use of these terms despite a few different classification systems that have been published. A true tuberous breast (grade III) has tight skin all around the breast and causes the breast tissue t…
Why are implants placed under the muscle more often?
Great question!
Aug 19, 2020
This is a great question and one that has a lot of debate. The decision in which plane to place an implant should depend on the patient’s anatomy, history of breast surgery, physical demands, and desired appearance. There are definitely surgeons who will only do things one way, but the majority of board-certified plastic surgeons recognize the usefulness of each method and base their decision on the above factors. One of the biggest factors is capsular contraction. The body naturally forms a…
Would a fat transfer help me with more fullness, improved cleavage, and under-boob without getting imp
My advice
Aug 19, 2020
The short answer to your question is yes. You can definitely get an increase in volume to your breasts (both upper and lower poles), and improved cleavage with fat transfer. Fat transfer has been an amazing technique for breast enhancement and breast reconstruction in my practice. The factors to consider are these: 1) It can take several sessions of fat transfer to achieve the desired shape and volume. Even with the best techniques, it is estimated that 25-50% of the grafted fat will not…
Am I a good candidate for a cleft lip revision procedure to improve appearance?
Great candidate for lip revision
Aug 19, 2020
It appears that you would be an excellent candidate for a lip revision surgery. The type of repair that you had done looks like a Manchester repair which focuses on detail of the cupid’s bow part of the lip but does not bring the muscle all the way across the lip. This is often called a “whistle” deformity of the lip. Modern day repairs focus on bring the muscle together all the way which has an affect of lowering and evening the lip. Added bulk to the upper lip can be given by borro…
Was told I have asymmetric tuberous breasts and it wasn’t fixable. I’d love a tummy tuck and normal br
My recommendation
Aug 19, 2020
I am very sorry that you have had to “accept your fate” for so long. I don’t know why the plastic surgeon you went to would have told you that your asymmetry was unfixable. Perhaps they saw something on exam that wasn’t explained well to you or perhaps they just didn’t know what to do. Asymmetrical breasts are very common and can differ by significant shape and cup size. True tuberous breasts are very fixable, but do require thoughtful techniques. From the picture you provided, it does not …
Breastfed 1 child. Does 450cc (gummy bear) seem logical to obtain a D/DD size?
Gauging implant size
Jul 12, 2020
Great question. The short answer is that it is impossible to tell you from the information andpictures you provided if 415 cc is a good plan for you. You bring up one of the hardest conceptsto overcome in breast surgery – cup size. Cup size is a very inaccurate measurements systemsin that it doesn’t apply to all body types, skin types, and breast composition. It does notmeasure breast surface area and breast volume, it simply measures a difference between thechest circumference below the bre…
What is a right procedure for me to achieve wish pick? BBL, BBL with Lipo 360?
Great BBL candidate
Jul 12, 2020
Great question. The short answer is that based on your pictures alone, you seem to be aperfect candidate for liposculpting and fat transfer to the buttocks (BBL). You seem to be ingood shape and simply have stubborn fat in the classic areas of most women. You should beable to get a result similar to the pictures you provided. Artistically performed liposculpting ofthe lower back, upper back, hips, upper thighs, inner thighs, and flanks can produce an amazingshape all by itself. The fat…
Do I need implants or a breast lift as I don’t like how flat they look from the side?
The need for a breast lift is based on several factors
Jul 12, 2020
The need for a breast lift is based on several factors, the most importof which is the current position of the nipple in relationship to the inframammary fold (the linewhere the upper abdomen stops and the breast starts). Without an exam, it is impossible totell you for sure, but based on your pictures, your nipple position looks to be in an appropriateposition or maybe just slightly low. You appear to have loss of volume or mild descent of yourbreast volume leaving a flattened upper pole….
