Lip Injections
Sep 2, 2016
The lips are extremely sensitive. It is very common for lips to swell after injections and there might even be a few bumps. If the swelling does not go down in a week you should go to a plastic surgeon or dermatologist to have your lips evaluated. The bumps should dissolve within a few weeks. Make sure to ice right after injections and continue icing for a few days. Sometimes prescribe an anti-inflammatory medication to help with the swelling.

Eyelid Surgery Recovery
Recovery Time from Blepharoplasty Surgery
Apr 19, 2016
Swelling and bruising may occur after the eyelid lift. We tell patients to sleep with the head slightly elevated at a 30-degree angle for the first few days to help minimize the swelling. It’s also recommended that ice compresses be applied for 20 minutes on and then 20 minutes off during the first few days to control swelling and bruising. Any pain that patients experience is well-controlled with low-dose prescription narcotics or over-the-counter medication. I see patients within four to s...
Droopy Eyelids - Alternatives to Eyelift Surgery?
Droopy Eyelids Quick Fix
Apr 18, 2016
For upper eyelid sagging you can try BOTOX or Dysport right above the brow. It will temporarily lift your brows slightly which will give your eyes a more open look. For lower lid bags you could try filler which might smooth out the under eyelid bags. These are both temporary fixes. I suggest you go in for an evaluation with an Oculofacial Plastic surgeon who will give you a few options to choose from.
Should I get lower eyelid blepharoplasty or fillers under my eyes?
Blepharoplasty and Filler
Apr 14, 2016
You may want to consider a lower blepharoplasty. Puffiness of the lower
eyelids can make you looked aged or tired causing large bags or dark circles
under your eyes. This is due to fatty tissue that is herniated forward. The fat
is often times subtly removed and repositioned or
re-contoured in the lower eyelids to create a graceful and natural transition
from the under eyelid to the upper cheek region. The goal is to create a smooth
lower lid without causing any hollowness.
Lower lid pulling down. Should I just wait to have it corrected and is it reasonable to believe it w
Ectropian After Surgery
Apr 13, 2016
Good question. Every patient heals differently. It might help to massage the area several times a day pushing in an upward motion. You might have a slight ectropian which can easily be corrected. Your physician will probably need to do a minor revision. I suggest giving it at least 3 more months. Best of luck to you.
I have different eye sizes. What surgery can be done to correct this?
Different Size Eyes
Apr 13, 2016
I suggest you go see an Oculofacial Plastic Surgeon. Make sure they are a specialist in this field. They will be able to examine you and tell you if anything can be done to correct this.
