Tummy tucks are generally more painful than breast surgery, but everyone’s pain tolerance is different. Expect a few days of pain medication, but even if it does not hurt, the important thing is to take adequate time to recover regardless. We tell our patients to expect to need a full two weeks for serious recovery and then still take it easy the third week. After that, resuming easy activities carefully is generally permitted. Follow your surgeon’s instructions on after…

It is important to be honest with your doctor. We have patients omit or forget to share information from us occasionally and it is not helpful to us as providers or to you as a patient. Your provider should keep your health informaiton confidential.

Most often our patients are thrilled with their reductions, but of course there are occasionally patients that wish they were a little larger or smaller. If you want to have larger breasts, start from scratch as anyone looking for a breast augmentation should, and find a surgeon that will work with you to find an implant size you are really happy with and that compliments your figure. There are many options to choose from and you and your surgeon should work together to…

Lots of times, patients such as yourself can have multiple options and from looking at photos alone, I think you fall into this category. There are things that a good physical exam can tell, such as how loose your skin is among other things. You can probably get a pretty good result with either, but the bigger question is what are YOUR expectations. With liposuction, the skin will not get as tight but just the fatty tissue that you pinch. It also will not tighten any loose…

There might be a lot going on here. Do you have allergies? Did you have septal or sinus surgery? The steroids usually cause decrease of inflammation of the lining of the nose that can swell up and block the airflow in your nose. If you have allergies, surgery will not correct this aspect, only things that are physically blocking the flow of air through your nose. Sounds like you need to go back to your doctor and see what aspect of things are affecting your breathing….

2.5 months is still very early and I would recommend waiting several months before consideration of any revision as things will still be changing significantly. If you feel there is not enough volume then you may want to consider placement of a temporary filler to see if you like the look of that before any permanent type of procedure. If it helps give the look you want then microfat grafting in my experience is very good at correcting issues such as this.

Sometimes pictures can be a little deceptive and better to see a patient in person and I think you may be one of these people. From what I can see, your breast does not look especially tuberous BUT your crease under your breast may be a bit high. With breast augmentations, surgeons need to consider whether it is worth adjusting this to improve breast shape. Again an in person consultation would be really helpful in your particular situation. Best of luck!

Looks like you do have tubular breasts and some asymmetry. It looks a little worse on the left and the left breast is smaller. Most plastic surgeons will have experience with correction of tubular breasts which involve placement of an implant, at least partially on top of the muscle and techniques to relax the tighter portions of your breast at the bottom and potential adjustment of breast crease to help improve your breast shape. Good luck to you!

What is considered an “appropriate size implant” is a very very subjective question. What is considered large to one patient very often is small to another. Clothing that you wear will also makes a big difference how noticeable it is. I find that to make a distinguishable difference for most people, they need to go up or down 20% to be somewhat noticeable. Remember 15 cc is only about 1 tablespoon. What ever size you choose, try not to second guess yourself. There are…

Did you talk with your surgeon? Definitely let them know. Sometimes if you remove the patch and get the drug on your finger and touch your eye, it will cause enlargement of your pupil which can cause blurriness. Usually it should go down after several days, but again I would let your surgeon know. Best of luck!
