Hi. Thanks for your question. As long as your blood pressure is well controlled with the amlodipine, you should be able to get laser hair removal done safely. There are different types of lasers that can be used for hair removal depending on what type of skin you have. Choosing the right laser would be most important with regards to safety.

Hi. Thanks for the question. We use the Enlighten laser with picosecond technology by Cutera to remove tattoos in our office. Depending on how old it is, and the type of ink used, it should be removed in 4-6 treatments, and each treatment is about 6 weeks apart.

Hi. Typically, blisters from tattoo removal form soon after the laser procedure is done. If the initial blisters healed completely, then it is unlikely that the current blisters are due to the treatment. You should definitely see your medical provider and get them checked out.

Hi. Typically, laser hair removal works best on people with dark hair and light skin. I would recommend getting a second opinion at a physician based medical aesthetics practice which uses both Alexandrite (755nm) and Nd YAG (1064) lasers for hair removal. Good luck!

Hi. Thanks for the question. Typically, it takes 6-8 sessions or more to remove the majority of the hair in any area, and only hair in the active growth phase (anagen) is affected by the laser. If you have only had one session so far, it is very likely that the majority of the hair will return, though it may grow back more slowly than usual.
