After reviewing your pictures, it looks like you would get a much better result with a full tummy tuck. A full tummy tuck also allows for tightening of the six pack muscles (plication of rectus diastasis) which can really help to flatten the belly. Best of luck to you.

You look to be a good candidate for liposuction of the abdomen and love handle areas, and if you wanted to, all the way around the torso (lipo 360). Be sure you review before and after pictures and are happy with the results you see of patients that your surgeon has performed the procedure on in patients with similar starting points as you. I recommend you see a surgeon board certified by The American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Implant size (in cc's) and profile are questions I hear daily. The width of your chest or what's called your breast footprint best determines the profile with which you would get the best result. Sorry to hear you're having a rough time postop from your lipo. I recently had a patient who underwent liposuction that reported significant relief with cryotherapy. I have never recommended this sort of treatment, and the patient did it on their own. First check with your surgeon, but if ok'd to do so, it might be worth a try. Best wishes to you.

Clear communication regarding your wishes and expectations is very important. I recommend patients bring in before/after pictures or wish pics at the time of the consultation. It is helpful to know what they see is the ideal result. Sometimes the wish pics may not be realistic for a given patient, and in my opinion it is good to recognize that early and point these things out. Best of luck!

I do lipo of the flanks with nearly every single tummy tuck I do. Based on your pictures, which are no substitute for an in-person physical exam, I certainly disagree with doing these two procedures in separate operations.

Yes, the tummy tuck scar tends to fall around the same level of the c-section scar... maybe a touch higher. Typically I'm able to remove all stretch marks from the top of the belly button down. However, there are cases where there is so much skin laxity, I am able to remove more of the stretch marks. Even the remaining stretch marks look much better once they are on a little bit of tension. I would recommend looking at different surgeon's before/after...

At only two months postop, I'd recommend you wait several more months, if not a year to see if the dog ear resolves on its own. At that time, I suspect you would be able to find a plastic surgeon in your area who would be willing to do the revision for a minimal fee.

It is very common for patients to still be swollen a month after undergoing a tummy tuck. I recommend open communication with your surgeon to be sure you do not have a fluid collection present and to see if he/she recommends any type of treatment for swelling at this point.
