Hello and thank you for your inquiry. Kybella is a non-surgical treatment that is very effective in decreasing submental fat and contouring the jawline. My patients are very satisfied with treatment results even after their first treatment but see better results with a second or third treatment, which is standard. Yes, experiencing breakouts after a HydraFacial is normal. Depending on the quality and type of the skin agents used during treatment, a post-facial break out may occur. Sometimes after the treatment, not all the oils are extracted which can cause purging of the pores which then the pore does its own self-cleaning. Break outs are only temporary which will subside within a few days.
