The deflated breast is definitely a good indication of what your breast will look like if you have them removed. I will often deflate saline breast implants in the office so a patient can see what she will look like without her implants. If you have a smooth saline implant, then a capsulectomy will most likely not be required.

Natural looking breasts are attainable with implants and fat. Implants can help shape the breast as well as add volume. Fat grafting can give you a slight increase in volume, but in a more subtle way. I always use an imaging software in my office to show my patients what various volumes of breast implants look like in their body. A great patient/doctor team should be able to find a size that keeps a woman looking natural and feminine.
