A mommy makeover in Baltimore is a combination of breast and abdomen. There can be some variations but in general the most common is breast implants and a tummy tuck. Sometimes a breast lift can be added or liposuction for contouring.

That being said, it has been my experience that when you pull down the abdominal tissue, you are decreasing the total vertical height of the skin and subcutaneous tissue on your mid-abdomen.

This decrease in height pushes some of the subcutaneous fat out laterally, so that when I have done tummy tucks on very slender women, I find that they bulge out towards the love handles.

I generally advise patients who intend to lose more than a few pounds to do it prior to having any surgery. If you lose that much weight after mother makeover it may change things and you may subsequently want a revision.

It is safe to have mommy lift 6 weeks after pregnancy, but be aware that your body will continue to change for months after giving birth due to hormonal changes.
