The lower eyelids sitting in a lower position can due to a number of reasons. I recommend seeing an oculoplastic surgeon to ensure that there are no secondary causes for your lower eyelid position. First, ensure that you are not using any products on your eyelids (such as ointment that was prescribed post-operatively). If you are using any products, along your eyelids, this may be secondary to an allergic reaction. However, as you indicated, this may also represent poor scarring. If you feel that the darkness is improving, then I would wait as this could represent swelling/bruising. However if the darkness persists, then this may be due to the Restylane being placed too superficially and causing a Tyndall effect. Restylane is a great choice for under eye filler, however if it is placed in an incorrect plane, it may cause discoloration of the overlying skin. You may have the filler melted with hyaluronidase.
