Depending on what is causing your cough, your surgery may need to be postpone until you are feeling better. Having surgery when you are at your healthiest is best and can reduce risk of problems in recovery. Please let your surgeon know if you are not feeling ideal before surgery. There should never be rush when it comes to your body. The surgery will always be there when you are healthy and ready.

We do not recommend our patients to even try buying any bras until 3 months post-op when 90% of their swelling is gone. Wearing a compression bra is ideal for healing as well with a strap to keep your implants from riding high. You should also not be wearing a wire bra for at least 1-2 months. If your implants are behind the muscle, they will definitely be high and swollen for at least 2-3 months. Doing implants massage can help them relax and keep your pocket, capsule and implants soft!
How Long Should You Wear Your Binder/Garment for After a Tummy Tuck?

No matter which procedure you are getting, a compression garment is necessary to get your best results. I recommend using compression garments for at least 4 weeks. For any procedure, 50% of your swelling will be gone at your 4 week mark, which is why we recommend wearing a binder, bra or whichever garment. After the 4 week mark, we do not require our patients to continue wearing it, but we do recommend it until their 90 day mark.

Hello. Based on your photo, you look like a good candidate for an upper lid blepharoplasty. Removing some excess skin and muscle may very well give you the adorable eyelids you want! The surgeon should know about your cornea condition to ensure too much tissue is not taken so that you can fully close your eyelids after surgery, and prevent dry eyes. I doubt that insurance would pay, since your upper lids are not so bad that they cause defects in your visual fields….
