Blepharoplasty left heavy skin folds. Can this be corrected with a revision? Should I con
Left heavy skin fold
Nov 2, 2022
Hi : Thanks for the photos .Your unequal brows are related to unequal eyelid height. You would benefit from an evaluation of eyelid ptosis and not brow lift surgery. Revision blepharoplasty would improve crease height and the heavy skin folds. Best Edward H Bedrossian Jr. MD FACS
Would a lower eyelid surgery be my only option to fix this problem from tear trough fille
Problem from tear trough filler
Aug 29, 2022
Sorry that you are having this issue. There are products that can be injected into the lump to dissolve the filler. F that does not work , Surgery to remove the lump may be necessary and is usually very successful.Hope this helps Edward H Bedrossian Jr MD FACS
What can I do to remove irritation and redness?
Irritation after triodepigmentation cream
Aug 29, 2020
Hi ;Sorry you are having irritation and redness after using tridepigmentation cream . It sounds like the cream is doing what it is supposed to do, but your skin may be very sensitive to it ; or less likely you may be allergic to it. To reduce the redness and itching, it is best to stop applying the cream until the irritation and redness resolves. The light application of Aquaphor, mineral oil or petrolatum will help with healing. Panderm Cream is a stronger cream containing Nystatin,...

fix my eyes
Nov 9, 2019
Hi :
Thanks for the photos. As a result of numerous surgical procedures to the left eye, it looks like you have "lost" tissue from behind the left eye so that it no longer "protrudes " as much as the right eye. It would be helpful to see photos of yourself taken before the retinal detachment surgeries. Surgery to replace that "lost" tissue from behind the left eye can be done but is risky with unpredictable results.
However, there are a few things that can be done to...
What's the best recourse for upper lid retraction (lag mostly upon downgaze) after ptosis
upper lid retraction after ptosis correction surgery
Nov 6, 2019
Persistent retraction of your upper lid ( 8yrs after ptosis surgery) suggests that scar tissue is preventing your lid from closing , too much skin was removed, or both. An Oculoplastic/ Eyelid Surgeon, at examination, would determine which is the case. Most commonly, a structure called the orbital septum has been caught in the scar, and must be released and often a spacer is inserted. Less commonly, skin must be replaced. From your photo, gold weights are not needed ...
What can be done to correct the hollowing of under eyes 2 years after lower blepharoplast
hollowing 2 years after lower blepharoplasty?
Nov 6, 2019
Hi
Thanks for the question and photo.
The hollow that you show at the end of the arrow in your photo appears to be scar from the blepharoplasty 2 years ago. Below that line are bags ( prolapsed fat ) that do not go up to the eyelid margin, leaving a more noticeable hollow appearance.
Fortunately, there are a number of options that will help reduce the "hollowing". Surgery to release the scar and to re position the "bags" would be the most aggressive option . ...
What is the procedure for lateral canthus correction?
lateral canthus correction,eyelid
Aug 14, 2019
Hi,
A lateral canthopexy, lateral tarsal strip procedure or lateral canthoplasty are procedures to correct the lateral canthus depending on what needs to be corrected. Talk to your surgeon about the timing and the best procedure for correction. Usually, but not always, best to wait 4-6 months.
Best wishes from Philadelphia
