Answer Snippet
Do I have ptosis, or potential to develop it?
Asian eyelid
Feb 12, 2018
Feb 12, 2018
This doesn’t represent ptosis by definition as the lid height is normal. In the picture, the left brow is slightly higher and this could lead to the eyelid skin showing asymmetry. Another possibility relates to the position of the crease on the eyelids. For further evaluation, seek an opinion from your local eyelid specialist.
I lost the double eyelid on my right eye. Very worried because my eyes look completely different. Ple
Asian eyelid double eyelid

Unfortunately, the loss of the crease can develop when the attachments of the skin weaken with the underlying tissue. The chalazion could have disrupted these attachments. I hope that the crease will reform if this is due to swelling of the eyelid tissue. Otherwise, you might consider seeking help with a specialist who is well versed in formation of an eyelid crease.

Lower eyelid Excision of Lesion

I agree with the other reply in that the lesion would be relatively straightforward to remove without causing a disruption to the normal eyelid position and function. I would recommend that the lesion be removed and sent to a pathologist to ensure that the lesion is not a cancerous lesion.

Brow lift is the direction to consider.

Your brow position is the culprit. Consider a moderate browlift. You could consider Botox injection to lift the brow as a temporary fix which would allow you to visualize your brow when elevated.
What’s the Medical Terminology for the Corrective Procedure I Need?
Asian eyelid ptosis and crease asymmetry
Jan 17, 2012
Jan 17, 2012
Your eyelids look unequal because the left upper lid is lower due to a lifting muscle of the upper eyelid that is stretched and placed differently. This can occur after an episode of extreme swelling such as you described. The term is ptosis and treatments are available. Seek attention by an oculoplastic surgeon in your area for options and education.
Doctor Recommendation for Eyelid Surgery
Lower lid bulging
Apr 22, 2011
Apr 22, 2011
Based on your photos, there is an asymmetry of the lower lids with a distinct bulge on the left lower lid. This appears to be an orbital fat pad. However, to better inform you of your options, a photo that examines the tear trough area would be ideal.
Is It Normal to Have a Triple Eyelid After Ptosis Surgery?
Eyelid folds
Apr 22, 2011
Apr 22, 2011
Based on your photos, your right eyelid is lower or ptotic. The multiple folds of the skin represent different attachments of the levator to the subdermal upper eyelid skin. This phenomenon can be seen in individuals with dehiscence of the levator complex. Creating a single fold of the upper lid can be difficult but usually requires ptosis surgery and creation of a single crease.
