For the past six years, Marianne has developed a special interest in early skin cancer detection using a dermatoscope as well as all aspects of dermatology. Her past experience includes specialization in internal medicine, emergency medicine, and employee health. Marianne holds a BS degree in Nursing and a MSN as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Pittsburgh.

Biography: Denisse graduated from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, and received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biological Sciences before being accepted into their accelerated Physician Assistant Program. She was one of only two accepted applicants for a very competitive program, which receives thousands of applicants every year. Denisse, the youngest student in her class, was awarded a merit scholarship for Hispanic and Latino PA students, due to excellent academics. In 2016, she graduated with a Master’s of Science in Physician Assistant studies, and became board-certified under the NCCPA.

Denisse has a background working as a Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine, which provides her with a versatile skill set. She is capable of managing a variety of health conditions and complications. After several years, she made the decision to pursue her true passion: dermatology and aesthetics.

Biography: April Cannon is a dermatologic Nurse Practitioner who joined our practice in 2010. She earned her undergraduate B.S.N. from the University of Virginia. While in undergraduate school, April was selected to study global comparative medicine at Oxford University in the U.K. She became a cardiac ICU nurse at Emory University before returning to the University of Virginia for a MSN and her N.P. April specializes in medical and cosmetic procedures in the office. She focuses on acne prevention and maintenance as well as melanoma prevention. She trained under Medical Director, Bruce Katz M.D. on resurfacing techniques and performs cosmetic lasers for the treatment of fine lines, capillaries, and sun spots.

Biography: Dr. Juliya Fisher is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained dermatologic surgeon, focusing on the treatment of skin cancer with Mohs micrographic and facial reconstructive surgery.
