Other than going back to your surgeon, the first thing I'd do is to give it 3 more months if possible for more of the swelling to go down.... things do change with time and sometimes they improve. You may need more surgery, but I would exhaust non-surgical options first. Without any photos, a more precise answer is impossible, but I would recommend massaging the hard lump twice daily for 5 minutes each time. Good luck!

I recommend using Vitamin B6 100 mgs 3x per day and if that doesn't help... I write you a prescription for Gabapentin. It may take a couple of weeks to start working, but it's been very helpful for this problem...Good luck!

Are 400-550 cc too big?

First thing is that I'd recommend that you get sized... which means to try on the implants on top of your breasts. It's not the absolute best test, but will certainly give you an idea about implant size. I would recommend probably trying something on larger than 450, though.That said, there is another procedure that you may be a candidate for and tat is a Liposuction Augmentation. First, I think you've had an excellent result only 6 weeks out!! I don't think you'll need a ptosis repair, but you do need to give it more time because I suspect you will see more changes and further improvement. Patience!!

First of all, I think you have an excellent result!! Second, the cleavage area will soften and improve somewhat with time and massage exercises. Do them so that you get the best result you're capable of having. What I'd like to tell you though is that the improvement in cleavage is a direct result of the size of implants that are placed... that is, the bigger the implants the more cleavage you'll have and vice-versa. Can tearing chest muscle cause implant/capsule rupture?

It is extremely unlikely that your implant or capsule has been damaged, but I would recommend getting a mammogram to help allay your concern. While the mammogram is not going to be 100% effective at seeing a problem it is the safest, easiest, cheapest test that may help you. Good luck!

We all have had a lot of experience with ADM and your question is obviously pertinent. There is no procedure that is 100% effective at positioning the implant. That said, we all use a variety of tricks to get it to work because of the difficulty of keeping the implant is a perfect position. I recommend that you discuss your concerns with your surgeon and find out what tricks are planned and how effective they've been in his/her hands. We wish the two of you all the best!

I don't know how long ago your surgery was, but please know that this is a common occurrence. It is frequently reported that there are differences between the two sides. Regardless, I would recommend that you see your surgeon and discuss it. Good luck!

This is a common condition after surgery. It can last for a few weeks or a couple of months, but subsides. What occurs also a common is that the nipples can be hard all the time and become visible under a shirt and bra. We have helped these patients with the aid of silicone nipple covers, such as Dimerz. Having scar irritation and scabbing is both normal and common... nothing to worry about. However, if the redness increases, then you should report this to your surgeon. Good luck!

The implants have for some reason come to rest too close to one another. This is not always the surgeon's error. Regardless, the implants needs to be moved further apart and doing so will also make your nipples point more straight. As to your question about the nipple height, this is frequently related to your preoperative appearance and cannot be changed. You will require more surgery to improve this... sorry to say. Although I wouldn't classify your postop pains as normal, they are not uncommon. Start taking Vitamin B6 100mgs 3x daily and see your plastic surgeon. If the pains are still there in 2 weeks, you may need some Neurontin. the most important thing tho is to see your doctor so that he/she can check you out. I bet everything is ok and you just need more time to recover....

Well I certainly see those bumps and I agree that more surgery will be required in order to improve them. It's hard to say whether or not there should be a fee because I don't know the details of your case. That said, I believe that you will need to have a surgery done through an incision under the chin and removal of the bumps, followed by wearing a supportive neck wrap for at least 2 weeks postop.
